I am a designer based in Hudson, Wisconsin. I started designing spaces before I knew what interior design was. At the young age of eight, I remember begging my parents to let me rearrange the living room. They had one stipulation, “No moving Dad’s avocado green vinyl chair.” I embraced the challenge, and that only led me to love and appreciate good design all the more. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Northwestern in Saint Paul, MN. I have brought my love for design to interiors. I love taking a space and turning it into a story — one that is inviting, inspiring and has a bit of the unexpected.
I have an incredible husband and four wonderful children whose energy and creativity never ceases to amaze me. Just the other day, my eight year old daughter came to me and asked if she could rearrange her bedroom . . . I was game for it — as long as she didn’t move the charcoal gray tweed chair.
